If you're wondering what this has to do with gifted ed, I'll tell you.
- Teachers who can do cool stuff proceeds credibility with students.
- If you know, yous can share it with students, who can then create their own cool stuff.
- Gifted kids honey cool stuff, as does nearly everyone.
Specifically, here are ideas:
- Students or teachers tin crop pictures into shapes that match the content. For case, cropping a pic of Saturn into a circumvolve and then into a band would let you to add a ring of Saturn around Saturn. This technique allows the image to become a metaphor.
- It allows y'all to fit images exactly how and where you lot would similar them. You tin can crop the prototype to the shape yous demand.
- It gives another way for younger children learning shapes to collaborate with them. Students can accept an image and crop information technology over an over, like a bingo game ("Crop your picture into an oval" "Now crop your movie into a pentagon" "At present crop your pic into a triangle.")
- The list goes on and on, but you go the thought.
